IF-Localization is an internationally operating company that specializes in the life sciences, IT, manufacturing, finance, legal, automotive, multimedia, marketing, and content creation sectors. Our project managers are localization experts who look back on more than 12 years of experience in the management of localization projects for large international enterprise customers. Long-term experience forms the basis for our cooperation with our external localization partners.

Our worldwide network consists of highly qualified specialized translators and reviewers who work in their native language as well as DTP experts and localization engineers and covers more than 50 languages and numerous subject areas. We have been working with most of our localization partners for many years, and they are among the best in the industry.

Management
Luka Komljenović (Managing Director)

Luka Komljenović, M.A., Managing Director of IF-Localization GmbH, founded the company on June 1, 2010. Komljenović studied Sinology, Japanese studies, and Slavic philology at the
Georg-August University in Göttingen, Germany.
Active in the localization industry since 1999, he started out as a translator and interpreter, and went on to be employed as an international project manager and team lead for two of the world's largest localization providers. Komljenović's mother tongues are German and Croatian; he is also proficient in English, Chinese, and Japanese.

Born in Croatia, Komljenović has lived in Germany for 38 years. For Komljenovic, it is a matter of personal importance to embed social responsibility as an integral part of the IF-Localization company philosophy.

 

 

 

Nathan Kurz

Nathan Kurz, M.A., is the Operations and CSR Manager as well as a shareholder and co-founder of IF-Localization GmbH.
Kurz studied at Illinois State University in the USA and graduated with an MA in TESOL (“Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages“) as well as a BA in Graphic Design and Painting. Active in the localization industry since 1995, Kurz worked as an international project manager with two of the world's largest localization providers, before IF-Localization was founded.
Kurz is a US citizen. His mother tongue is English; he has a good command of the German language. Born and raised in the Philippines, Kurz has lived in the U.S. and Sierra Leone, West Africa; since 1999, he has been a resident of Germany.

Social commitment and charity work are of great importance to him. He served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Sierra Leone (1988-1990) in a UN rural water supply project. He has been actively working together with the Uganda development organization KACCAD ("Kyosiga Community Christian Association for Development") since 2007.
